Jose Manuel Karpi was born in 1962 in Oliva (Valencia), not far from Mediterranean beloved by the artist.  Being brought up in a secured family, young Karpi found an interest to arts, watching at his parents painting.

Nowadays Karpi is the most international artist and sculptor from Valencia. For some years he was considered to be the best artist in Valencia. He had more than 200 exhibitions round the world; there are his works in museums and private collections in more than 23 countries (Corrido Museum in Kordova, Vellington Fond in Madrid, Modern Arts Museum in Terragona and many others). There is his picture in the house of His Royal Highnesses Prince Philipp. This was the present for his wedding and it was got by Royal House. Recently the artist has got an order from Buckingham Palace.

Among his achievements we can mention a reference in Guinness World Records book about the grand exhibition of crafts in shop windows of Grangia (Valencia). Every picture was prepared by the artist himself, he framed them and organized display area.
