About the sculptor:
Vadim Borovikh is ranged among the artists who truly devote to their hard work. He successfully deals with animalistic sculpture, portraits and composition. He works with wood, bronze and plastics. He likes wood as a material for its warmth and flexibility. He appreciates bronze for its delicacy and nobility. Vadim chooses plastics if it is necessary to find a compromise between light wood and strong metal. There are his works in private collections in Russia, Germany, the USA and Finland.

Biography:
He was born in 1960, June 5th, in Perm.
In 1987 he graduated from the Art faculty of the State Leningrad Teachers’ Training University (Herzen University). In 2005 he became a member of the Artists' Union of Russia and International Association of Art (IAA) at UNESCO. Since 1980 he lives and works in Veliky Novgorod.
