Andrey Efimov was born in 1950 in St. Petersburg; graduated at Repin Art Institute in subject design. He works with almost all kind of materials: wood, metal, texture, paper and other. He is very famous in his plastic arts and jewelry. Since 1982 Andrey performs museum orders of all Russian regions. More then 120 sculptures, medals, decorative sculptured maps and other artworks are in the State Museums in several Russian Regions collections. Some of his artworks as designed lamps (post-modern style and others), wooden sculptures (traditional Russian folk manner) and various kinds of medals are very popular in private collections in Europe and England. In his artworks Andrey prefers depict historical and mythical themes, or nature and animals subjects.
